Blaze King Sentry S-14

The Sentry 14 is a small stove that punches above its size. It heats up to 1,300 square feet, which makes it a good fit for cabins, smaller homes, and mobile homes, and it tucks into tight spaces with just an inch of clearance at the rear and corners. Even with the compact footprint, it still has the biggest glass window in its class, so you get a real view of the fire. The door and firebox take standard 16 inch logs, and at 31.5 inches tall it sits at an easy height for loading.

Like every Blaze King, it runs on the thermostat control system with no electricity required, so it keeps heating right through a power outage. You can dial the heat output down by up to 65% to match the weather and stretch your wood, and a single load gives you up to 14 hours of low, steady heat or 8 hours on high when it really gets cold.

At 78.4% efficient it burns up to a third less wood than competing stoves, and because it produces such fine ash, you can go a long time between cleanings. One thing worth knowing: most stoves need a full thermally rated hearth pad underneath, but the Sentry 14 only needs ember protection, which keeps your install cost down.
