Jackson Lux 550 Grill (Propane or Natural Gas)
This industry-leading grill is the most popular of the Jackson Grills for a reason. It can run on propane or natural gas, so it will fit into whatever setup you have. Built from high-grade materials and with a grilling surface of 510 square inches, this is sure to take your outdoor dining experience to the next level.
Storage Components
You’ll get a spacious 3-drawer cabinet, a 2-door cabinet with a shelf, and a 2-door BBQ cabinet. These provide the perfect place to conveniently store your grilling tools, trays, outdoor dishes, and anything else you want to have easy access to while entertaining outdoors. Each cabinet has a stainless steel door that gives a sleek, finished look and protects your supplies from the elements.
Stainless Steel Counterspace
The top surface of the cabinet pieces is made of the same high-quality stainless steel that the rest of the unit is. The Uptown Series is designed to be easy to install on your own. There are only three components that need to be assembled. All you need to do is unbox the drawer units, screw the feet on, and then line them all up before bolting them together. The BBQ should then be placed in the opening without bolting it down. Your outdoor kitchen will come with a manual. You can always give us a call if you have any trouble, and a friendly member of our team will be happy to help you out.
You will be able to get the job done with common household tools. You will need the following:
- a set of Allen keys
- 7 1/16” wrench or adjustable wrench
- Phillips screwdriver
- A buddy to help you!
Yes, there is a 2-year warranty against any manufacturing defect for the stainless steel counters and cabinets.
The Jackson Grills Lux Series BBQ which comes with the Uptown Outdoor Kitchen is protected under a very good Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Within 10 years from the date of purchase, Jackson Grills will replace defective burners, outer hood, handle, warming shelf, outer pedestal system, inner hood, firebox, cooking grates, and rotisserie burner. From 11 to 15 years after purchase, Jackson Grills will provide 50% off these parts.
During the first 5 years after purchase, they will repair any defective flame diffusers or crosslighters free of cost.
Within 2 years of the date of purchase, Jackson Grills will replace or repair any of the following defective parts at no charge: natural gas regulator, thermometer, gas valves, knobs & fasteners, igniter and electrode, accessory parts, rotisserie motor, rotisserie kit.

The Jackson Grill Lux BBQ unit that comes with the Uptown Outdoor Kitchen offers a total grilling surface of 510 square inches and can reach searing temperatures of up to 700F in less than 10 minutes. The firebox and 8mm grates are made from the highest-grade stainless steel available and have fantastic heat retention for optimal grilling results. The grill comes with a true infrared rotisserie to roast meats to perfection. Yum!

The dimensions of the three cabinet/drawer pieces are as follows:
2-door cabinet w/ shelf: 36” tall, 30” deep, 36” wide

No. The Jackson Lux 550 grill requires 12” between the rear of the grill and a combustible surface. Our stainless steel cabinet has 10” of counter space behind the grill, so the outdoor kitchen should be installed at least 2 inches away from the wall.
Our outdoor kitchens can be assembled over concrete patio, vinyl, and wood decks. The unit comes with adjustable feet that make it easy to ensure the unit is level on uneven ground.
Where your kitchen goes is up to you, but we recommend positioning it close to the home so it benefits from some shelter and is more convenient for bringing out food and dishes. You will probably want it to be near an outlet for use of the rotisserie (alternatively, you can use an extension cord). Our experienced staff are happy to help you think through where the best place for your outdoor kitchen is.
Because everyone loves an elevated outdoor living space, having an outdoor kitchen certainly makes your home more attractive to potential buyers. This means an outdoor kitchen can be a great investment that will eventually pay for itself if you ever sell your home, or for when your kids inherit it!
Our outdoor kitchens are outdoor-rated, meaning they can withstand the elements and winter temperatures. We do recommend cleaning the grill head and counters well between use and always ensuring the unit is off and the rotisserie is unplugged when not in use. In the winter, repeat the above and if you have a gas unit, be sure to turn the gas connection off. We recommend covering the unit if you won’t be using it regularly.
No, permission from the city is not required for the Uptown Outdoor Kitchen or even a custom outdoor kitchen build. However, we do recommend you take time to consider your needs, explore different placement options, and measure your space to ensure you have adequate room for your Uptown Outdoor Kitchen.
