Graeme, General Manager of Fireplaces by Cameron, leads with decades of experience in the Fireplace industry. He specializes in everything from sales to installation and business management. He speaks with a lot of authority on all aspects of the industry. It all started with a childhood love of an open fire at Christmas. Graeme understands the full value of a fireplace in the home all year round–from how much heat it can generate to even the aesthetic warmth and design it can offer the space. When off the clock, Graeme can be found walking his dogs, reading or with friends and family. He’s become quite the collector of (and enjoys) Scotch and Whiskey. He once was a competitive mountain biker and continues to enjoy riding today
While a Sales Manager for the Fireplaces division, Teresa has been in the home building and interior design business right from the start. With over 30 years of experience, it’s safe to say she knows a thing or two about how to help customers find the right fireplace for their home–the size is essential! With a keen eye for the design details she is passionate about supporting customers in having an amazing experience and loves seeing them with satisfied smiles. Wood heat holds a special place in her heart, reminding her of her childhood and being gathered around the fire. Today, she often spends time with her family and every growing bundle of grandkids. Teresa loves cruising up the coast by boat, camping and hiking. Her favorite and most challenging hike was a seven day hike through the Andes Mountains in Peru–how stunning!
Mikhail brings a wealth of experience in HVAC and gas fireplace design and installation to the team. He is the gas and fireplace installation expert and blends project management alongside sales and service. He also happens to be the go-to guy for problem solving and happy results that work for both the customers and tradespeople. With fond memories of wood burning stoves as a kid, it’s no surprise these are his favorite. Today, he now knows the importance of design in the framing and mantle hearth and how this can really bring a room together. Inspired by his kids who always make him laugh, he enjoys hiking or swimming with them. He is even learning Karate with his daughter. A huge music fan, he not only has an impressive vinyl collection but finds ways to support local arts, live music and theater throughout the year.
This Fireplace Installer and Gas Technician has operated up and down the west coast from Interior B.C. to the Gulf Islands. Passionate about a job well done, Thomas loves seeing customers happy and ensuring their beautiful homes stay warm during colder seasons. While natural gas fireplaces are his favorite–they’re a breeze to operate, Blaze King wood stoves hold a special place in his heart (and with their efficiency level, who can blame him!?). While getting the job done right is always top priority, it’s the icing on the cake when he can do so and still make it home in time to watch his favorite sports team win a championship. Off the clock, he can be found skiing or golfing. Otherwise, he’s spending time with his partner and dog both in the kitchen cooking or out on the trails in the Valley
